Feed produced from the high protein air classified faba bean fraction will be assessed for its impact on Atlantic salmon. Fish growth, feeding efficiency, nutritional composition, health, welfare and disease resistance will be determined along with global gene expression studies.

The research will determine maximum inclusion levels and compare the faba bean containing feeds with existing formulas in a near-commercial environment.
